Terms of use
The game
Triviala is a football trivia game provided as-is, without a warranty that live matches will always stay up. Online rooms live in server memory. A restart or deploy can drop a match in progress.
Your name
Do not use a display name that harasses, impersonates, or is illegal. We may remove or block names we consider abusive.
Football names and images
Player names, club names, crests, and photos appear for trivia. Those marks and images belong to their owners. Triviala is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by FIFA, UEFA, any league, or any club. Image data may come from API-Football / API-Sports under their licence. We do not claim an official partnership.
Accounts
You can play as a guest or create an account (email and password, Google, or Apple). Memberships are tied to the signed-in account, not to a display name. On the website, a guest purchase stays on that browser until you sign in with the same Stripe email. In the iOS and Android apps, buy while signed in so the purchase is saved on that account. You can delete a signed-in account in the app. Deleting it does not cancel an Apple or Google subscription.
Purchases
Triviala Pass is $39.99 USD per year and Ad-Free is $19.99 USD once. On the website those prices include tax and Stripe bills them. You pay the listed price; tax is not added on top. You can cancel a website Pass through the Stripe customer portal or by emailing hello@triviala.app. Access continues until the end of the paid period unless Stripe says otherwise. Typing a name or email in the game does not prove a purchase.
On the iOS and Android apps, a full-screen ad can play after a match. Triviala Pass and Ad-Free turn that ad off. The website does not use that ad.
In the iOS app, Apple bills the same products. In the Android app, Google Play bills them. The store shows the price in your local currency. Manage or cancel a subscription in your Apple or Google account. Refunds for those purchases go through that store. Restore purchases in the Shop while signed into the same Triviala account.
Acceptable use
Do not attack the service, scrape extra football APIs through Triviala, or disrupt other players’ matches.
Liability
To the extent allowed by law, we are not liable for lost scores, dropped lobbies, or downtime. Trivia answers can be wrong; they are for entertainment.
Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the operator’s country of residence, without affecting any consumer rights you have in your own country.
